What is and What is Coming

This was posted March 2019. A year before Covid.

We know in part and we prophesy in part so, what I share here and the posts that follow, is just a part.

In Matthew 13:24-28,  Jesus presented a parable, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field. “But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away. “But when the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the tares became evident also. “The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’  “And he said to them, ‘An enemy has done this!’

Several verses later Jesus explains this parable. The Kingdom of Heaven is not the Kingdom “in” Heaven. This is the Kingdom of Heaven on earth where the devil has sown tares. Jesus points out that the reason the devil is successful at sowing tares in the Kingdom is because Jesus’ men were sleeping. Jesus did not say that it is God’s will that the devil sow tares. In one of the seven letters Jesus had John write to the church ekklesia of Sardis, He said, “wake up”. Sleeping is also referenced as being dead in scripture and the same word is used for both often. When we are asleep we are disengaged and unaware of what is going on around us. We could still be reading our Bibles, praying, attending church, etc. but, be asleep. We could just be distracted by life. Unaware and disengaged while our enemy is at work sowing tares.

We, God’s children, have been given authority over the earth. Too many have been deceived into believing a hyper-sovereignty of God. God didn’t cause a curse to come upon man and the earth, man’s choice to disobey God caused it. We like to say God is in control. It gives us comfort, peace and security. When you watch the news or just look around and see murders, terrorist attacks, mass shootings, sex trafficking, abuse and evil of all kinds does it look like God is in control? No, Heaven is what it looks like when God is in control. The world is in the condition it is because, “His men were sleeping”.

God delegated His authority to man over the earth to subdue and to rule over it. What we do and what we do not do, will have consequences in the earth. In Matthew 16 Jesus said what we bind and what we loose will become legally binding. God’s will is accomplished through us, His Ekklesia.

Ultimately, God is in control. Man, demons and beasts all have to operate by the rules and laws God has put in place. We also know when this age is over God and His bride will be victorious. Jesus is coming back for a bride without spot or wrinkle and that has prepared herself for her bride-groom. Until then, let’s wake up and get in the game! Let’s discover who God has made us to be and to do under His leadership and authority.

We have had many alarms. Y2K was an alarm. 9-11 was an alarm. Legalized murder was an alarm. Redefining marriage was an alarm. Identity theft was and is an alarm. We have had many. We must stop hitting the snooze button.

The Lord is not doing a new thing. He is restoring an old thing. It may be new to us but, there is nothing new under the sun, Eccl. 1:9.

I saw a rope around something stuck in the ground. A hand at the other end of the rope was pulling on it and gave it a great yank. I heard, “I need to dislodge it”. https://youtu.be/K7tGcmgUNLs

A week later… I heard the word “overhaul”. I then saw an engine in hundreds of pieces after a mechanic took it apart. The sight could be disconcerting if you were the owner and never saw an engine, your engine, in hundreds of pieces. This engine was not taken apart because it was wore out or broke down and in need of repair. I then heard the words, “I am rebuilding it with high performance parts”.

A re-volution is here and is coming…

Will you be part of it or asleep and unprepared like the five virgins without oil?

  • Thoughts and things I’ve been getting since you’ve said. — “Pulled of of ground, mud with rope. A great yank.”

“I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭40:1-3‬ ‭NIV‬‬ https://www.bible.com/111/psa.40.1-3.niv

Set my feet upon a “rock”.

“And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭16:18‬ ‭NIV‬‬ https://www.bible.com/111/mat.16.18.niv

I believe the ekklesia is being pulled out the mud. The ekklesia represents the Davidic line of earthly Kings meant to rule and bring forth the will of God here in earth as it is in heaven.

Not only are they being pulled out of the mud, but they are being placed on the rock thru revelation from the Father. Just like Peter received from the the Father about who Jesus was.
